Vipre enterprise not updating defs onlinedating co uk
I try to push the updates from the Vipre Console and I get an Updates Failed error. Then go to updates and make sure the throttling is not set about 1000 default is 100.
If that is all set and the agent are in a protected state they should be able to update unless there some other odd issue occurring.
use this link to create a case then the instructions at the following links when you get the case number back.
Create case: Server logs: Agent logs: Let me know when that is complete and i'll take a look at the logs. Doesn't work if I try to run updates from the client itself.
Restarting the service should clear that up and with the other port open now you shouldn't have to keep a close eye on it. In my case, the second engine appears to update and shows an updated "-7.650?? however, the primary definition number is not updating and the status continues to show "Updated Failed" over and over again until I push out a full version update. there was an issue with primary number 48410 not updating as well as 48428...
all agents seemed to get stuck at those primary engine definitions until I forced a full definition update.
If the issue remains after entering this information (or the system is not behind a proxy), the connections may be blocked.
It is not configurable in any of the policy setting but is required for the updates to complete properly now.
By default, the service memory is set to 512 MB and maximum memory is set 1 GB.
